Nightmare Frontier Raid Fear Planner Tool

Plan Nightmare Frontier raids by selecting Fears to preview Dreadweaver pressure, hazard tendencies, and crafting focus before you deploy.

Last updated:

The Raid Fear Planner exists because Nightmare Frontier’s hardest mistakes happen in the Hideout, three clicks before a District loads. You pick scavengers, you pick Fears, you pick the exam.

How to use it

  1. Select the Fears you intend to bring.
  2. Read the combined pressure notes.
  3. Decide if the cocktail matches your goal (farm, climb, practice).
  4. Rebuild classes if the ecology demands it (Crew Builds).
  5. Enter the District with a written extract condition (Extraction Strategy).

Select Fears on your roster

Check every Fear you plan to bring. The planner summarizes pressure overlap and farming focus.

Raid readout

Select at least one Fear to preview the raid ecology.

Why planners beat vibes

Fear selection decides Dreadweaver families, hazard tendencies, and carcass materials (Fears, Dreadweavers). Players who skip this step reinvent the same wipe: wrong parts, wrong monsters, wrong pride.

Suggested workflows

Use the Extraction Helper mid-raid when greed whispers. Refresh combat verbs in Combat & Ricochet and routing in Districts & Map.

Plan the nightmare—or it plans you.

Planner case studies

Case 1: Trophy needs puppets + you also queued Deadwood “for fun.” Result: melee pressure plus anti-still exams. Fix: drop the fun Fear.
Case 2: Climb night with three armor brutes and no hazard plan. Fix: add control tools or lower level.
Case 3: Payday farm with mirrored deception fears and no ricochet handgun. Fix: swap a gun before launch via Items.

Run the planner every time a scavenger swap changes Fear identity. Thirty seconds here saves a thirty-minute corpse walk. Continue with Fears, Dreadweavers, and Crew Builds.
